I love your realizations and honesty. You bring a smile and joy to simple pleasures. We are balloon people. I did the same thing for my grandsons 8th grade graduation. I ordered presents online wrapped them in paper I had tucked away. Produced them with the 3 silly balloons with a bag of his favorite Whiteys. So glad we did. Balloons last longer than the pretty packages or the ice cream.

I love your podcast because I've never thought about balloons as part of the decorations but I actually could visually see them deflating as you said. Keep bringing more of the things that seem to have value at a time when the world seems to be deflating like those balloons 🎈
